ANGELA BURGESS - DIRECTOR OF TRAINING

Angela Burgess is responsible for organising all training and study tours on behalf of Cadogan Education. Angela has worked in the financial services sector since 1988, and with collective investment schemes since 1993. She coordinates all Cadogan Education's training activities for both developed and emerging markets. Since 1993 she has organised study tours for groups from Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, China, Estonia, Hungary, India, Korea, Peru, Russia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. She has also run training courses in Bulgaria, Russia and Ukraine and was project manager of a project to provide examinations for securities markets professionals in Russia.

She is an experienced project manager who has worked on a range of projects in Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Russia and Ukraine. She also managed the Securities Regulators Forum on behalf of the Department of International Development, which brought together in the UK securities regulators from 22 different countries in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

She is now responsible for all Cadogan Education's public and in-house training courses both in the UK and internationally; in the UK these courses are undertaken in conjunction with the Investment Management Association, the UK's major trade association for asset managers.

She is also Cadogan Education's webmaster with responsibility for the technical maintenance of the global funds website the Global Investment Funds Information Centre (GIFIC).
